The Role
As Ecommerce Lead, you'll be responsible for driving revenue, optimising performance, and delivering a best-in-class online experience across both website and app. The Ecommerce Lead will sit at the centre of the business, collaborating closely with marketing, CRM, creative, and development teams to ensure trading activity is aligned, effective, and commercially driven.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and develop a small ecommerce team, setting clear objectives and driving performance.
- Own ecommerce trading performance across all markets, delivering against revenue and margin targets.
- Monitor and analyse key KPIs including conversion rate, average order value, and traffic.
- Own and manage the trading calendar, aligning key moments with wider marketing activity.
- Oversee all onsite and app merchandising, ensuring a best-in-class customer experience.
- Lead product launches, ensuring accuracy across content, pricing, and imagery while maximising commercial impact.
- Drive CRO initiatives, including A/B testing and optimisation of the customer journey.
- Collaborate with design and development teams to enhance onsite experience and functionality.
- Align closely with performance marketing teams across paid social, PPC, affiliates, and SEO.
- Partner with CRM to ensure email, SMS, and app activity aligns with trading priorities.
- Brief creative teams on ecommerce requirements for campaigns and launches.
- Manage ecommerce platforms, working with internal teams and external partners where required.
- Own reporting and dashboards, delivering clear performance insights to senior leadership.
- Continuously improve the end-to-end customer journey across all devices.
- Identify and implement new tools, integrations, and platform enhancements.
About You
- 5+ years' experience in ecommerce trading, ideally within a fashion or consumer brand.
- Proven experience managing and developing a team.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs and digital trading levers.
- Highly analytical, with the ability to turn data into clear, actionable insights.
- Commercially minded, with a track record of driving revenue and growth.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
- Strong communicator, able to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proactive, hands-on, and solutions-focused approach.
