Role Focus
In the role of English Lecturer, you'll predominantly be based at our Huddersfield sites, and your focus will be on teaching English GCSE.
Responsibilities
- Planning and delivering lessons
- Marking work and providing constructive feedback
- Managing behaviour
- Monitoring student attendance
- Any other duties, including admin, relating to the role
Qualifications
- Ideally, you'll have an English degree (or be able to prove equivalent ability)
- Demonstrable experience in teaching
- Ability to communicate with and engage with young people
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults
