We have a requirement for a SHEQ Manager with our manufacturing client in Lisburn. Company A, a leading manufacturing and installation business, is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to drive safety, quality, and environmental excellence across both factory operations and occasional site-based project activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe working environment and full compliance with H&S and environmental legislation.
  • Conduct factory and site inspections, audits, and safety tours.
  • Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Manage RAMS, risk assessments, method statements, and statutory documentation.
  • Oversee NCR management, supplier quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
  • Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and SHEQ training.
  • Monitor subcontractor compliance and support project teams on site.
  • Provide SHEQ reporting and insights to senior leadership.
  • Support customer quality documentation including ITPs and MCRs.
  • Drive a proactive SHEQ culture through coaching, communication, and visible leadership.
  • Regular travel to project sites across the UK is required.

Essential Experience

  • Proven SHEQ management experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience supporting SHEQ compliance.
  • Strong understanding of safe systems of work, audits, and incident investigation.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Experience with RAMS, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.

Qualifications

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001.
  • Internal auditor qualification (desirable).
  • Full UK driving licence.
