We have a requirement for a SHEQ Manager with our manufacturing client in Lisburn. Company A, a leading manufacturing and installation business, is seeking an experienced SHEQ Manager to drive safety, quality, and environmental excellence across both factory operations and occasional site-based project activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure a safe working environment and full compliance with H&S and environmental legislation.
- Conduct factory and site inspections, audits, and safety tours.
- Lead incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Manage RAMS, risk assessments, method statements, and statutory documentation.
- Oversee NCR management, supplier quality audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain and develop the Integrated Management System (ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001).
- Deliver toolbox talks, safety briefings, and SHEQ training.
- Monitor subcontractor compliance and support project teams on site.
- Provide SHEQ reporting and insights to senior leadership.
- Support customer quality documentation including ITPs and MCRs.
- Drive a proactive SHEQ culture through coaching, communication, and visible leadership.
- Regular travel to project sites across the UK is required.
Essential Experience
- Proven SHEQ management experience in manufacturing.
- Experience supporting SHEQ compliance.
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work, audits, and incident investigation.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Experience with RAMS, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and analytical skills.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of ISO9001, ISO14001, ISO45001.
- Internal auditor qualification (desirable).
- Full UK driving licence.
