A growing and well-established landscaping business near Liphook is looking for a hands-on Landscaping Team Leader to join their expanding team. This working Team Leader role will involve leading a small team on premium domestic landscaping projects across Surrey and Hampshire while remaining actively involved on the tools.
The successful Landscaping Team Leader will be responsible for:
- Organising daily workloads
- Managing site progress
- Liaising with clients
- Ensuring projects are completed to a high standard
Projects are typically within 1 to 1.5 hours of Liphook, with a company van supplied for work travel and fuel card.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a small landscaping team on site
- Organise daily jobs, materials, and workloads
- Install paving, fencing, and hard landscaping features
- Liaise professionally with residential clients and management
- Ensure projects are completed safely and to a high standard
- Carry out groundwork, site preparation, and landscaping duties
- Operate landscaping tools and machinery safely
- Travel to sites across Surrey and Hampshire
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous experience as a Landscaping Team Leader or Senior Landscaper
- Strong hard landscaping experience including paving and fencing
- Ability to manage and motivate a small team
- Full UK driving licence essential
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- CSCS Card and DBS check preferred
- Able to provide 2 references
