Management Accountant, Lincoln
Your new company Hays Senior Finance are working with a fast-growing manufacturer in Lincoln to recruit a Management Accountant. Reporting to the senior finance lead, this role plays a key part in delivering accurate management accounts and providing financial insight to support business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Budgeting and forecasting
- Cost and profitability analysis
- Inventory and stock control
- Supporting month-end processes
- Maintaining strong internal controls
- VAT compliance
- Continuous improvement of financial systems and processes
What you’ll need to succeed
- Part-qualified or qualified (CIMA/ACCA or equivalent)
- Proven management accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong stock management expertise
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical ability
- Confidence to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
- Living within a commutable distance of Lincoln (office-based)
