Driver Hire Lincoln is recruiting dependable HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers for flexible, ongoing assignments in the Lincoln area. This role suits professional drivers seeking immediate starts, consistent hours, and competitive rates.

Position: HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Driver

Location: Lincoln, Lincolnshire

Start Time: 07:00 daily

Employment Type: Temporary / Ad hoc

Start Date: Immediate

Pay Structure:

  • £14.75 per hour (Monday - Friday, first 8 hours)
  • £19.66 per hour (overtime after 8 hours)
  • Weekly pay every Friday via PAYE
  • Minimum 8-hour daily pay guarantee

Key Responsibilities:

  • Start shifts at 07:00, working hour days
  • Complete 5 - 10 deliveries per day
  • Safely strap and secure loads
  • Perform manual handling tasks
  • Maintain high standards of professionalism and safety

Candidate Requirements:

  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence
  • CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
  • No more than 6 penalty points on licence
  • Access to personal transport
  • Positive and proactive work ethic
