We are currently partnering with one of the UK's largest farming businesses, based in Lincolnshire, as they look to strengthen their finance function. This is a dynamic and growing organisation undergoing positive change, and they are keen to bring in someone who is open to new ideas and excited to be part of a business that is evolving and continuously improving.

The Role

Our client is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join their busy finance team. This role will be instrumental in supporting the business's financial direction, working closely with the Financial Controller and senior stakeholders to deliver high quality analysis and insights. You will play a key role in helping shape strategic decisions by turning financial data into clear, meaningful information that supports business growth and performance. The position requires a commercially minded individual who can think strategically, see the bigger picture, and communicate effectively across the wider business.

Main Responsibilities

  • Lead the budgeting process, including annual budgets and ongoing reforecasts
  • Manage quarterly forecasting cycles and maintain rolling forecasts
  • Support the development and delivery of the company's longer term financial plans.
  • Provide detailed financial analysis and insight to senior management to support decision making
  • Produce clear and insightful reports to improve operational efficiency and business performance
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the business to drive financial understanding and accountability

Required

  • Proven experience in an FP&A or similar commercially focused finance role
  • Background within food manufacturing, fresh produce, agriculture, or a wider manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Ability to interpret and present financial data to non-finance stakeholders
  • Experience working with budgets, forecasts, and long term planning processes
  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or equivalent preferred
