Our client-based South of the City of Lincoln requires an experienced Stores Coordinator to join their busy warehouse which supports Aviation Logistics.
Shift Patterns and Hours
The role is based on two 4‑weekly shift patterns which rotate. The shifts include a day shift of 8am‑8pm and a night shift 8pm‑8am. It also includes on‑call duties and the ideal candidate will be within a 45‑minute travel time of the site. Full rotas are explained at point of application.
Salary
£27,500 per annum based on a 37.5 hour week.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To execute bonded warehouse operations in full compliance with HMRC regulations while ensuring accurate aircraft part handling, traceability, and stock integrity.
- Receive aircraft parts under customs bond in accordance with approved procedures.
- Verify part numbers, serial numbers, documentation, and certification on receipt.
- Apply correct condition/status labels (e.g., serviceable, unserviceable, quarantine).
- Perform bonded transactions in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Report any discrepancies, non‑conformities, or customs related issues immediately to the line manager.
- Store aircraft components in accordance with OEM specifications and environmental requirements.
- Maintain accurate physical and digital records to ensure full part traceability.
- Conduct routine inventory audits and cycle counts.
- Relabel stock when required to maintain correct identification and status.
- Pick and issue parts under authorized release controls.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to achieve operational targets.
- Maintain clean and safe warehouse areas, ensuring gangways and external forecourts remain clear.
- Operate at all times in compliance with site health and safety rules, risk assessments, and safe systems of work.
- Promptly report hazards, unsafe behaviours, or potential risks.
- Perform bonded warehouse transactions under authorized SOPs.
Requirements
The successful candidate will be subject to security checking and clearance at point of offer. Own transport is essential to reach the site within a specific timeframe to meet on‑call duty deadlines. Experience in bonded warehouse operations and aircraft part handling is required.
