About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Communications & Change Contractor with a strong background in Facilities Management (FM) to support a high-profile transformation programme. This role will play a critical part in driving engagement, supporting behavioural change, and ensuring clear, effective communication across operational and corporate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a comprehensive change and communications strategy aligned to programme objectives
- Create engaging, audience-focused content across multiple channels (e.g. intranet, email, leadership briefings, toolkits)
- Partner with FM operational teams to translate complex changes into clear, actionable messaging
- Conduct stakeholder mapping and manage communications plans across diverse groups (site teams, suppliers, leadership)
- Support change impact assessments and readiness activities
- Facilitate workshops, briefings, and engagement sessions
- Monitor effectiveness of communications and adapt strategies based on feedback and data
- Ensure consistency of messaging across all FM sites and functions
Required Experience
- Proven experience in change management and internal communications within large-scale transformation programmes
- Strong background working within Facilities Management (FM) environments (hard/soft services, estates, or workplace operations)
- Demonstrable experience supporting operational or frontline workforce change
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities
- Experience working in fast-paced, complex environments
Desirable Skills
- Familiarity with recognised change frameworks
- Experience in outsourcing, mobilisation, or FM transformation programmes
- Knowledge of digital workplace tools (e.g. SharePoint, Teams, engagement platforms)
