Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T Driver on behalf of a well-established plant hire company based in Aston, Birmingham. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, long-term work delivering plant machinery across the Greater Midlands area.
The Role
- Driving a 7.5T vehicle to deliver and collect plant machinery
- Multi-drop deliveries throughout the Midlands region
- Securing loads safely using ratchet straps
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Providing excellent customer service on site
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months HGV / 7.5T driving experience essential
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Previous ratchet strapping experience essential
- Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations
- Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
