Pertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced 7.5T Driver on behalf of a well-established plant hire company based in Aston, Birmingham. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering stable, long-term work delivering plant machinery across the Greater Midlands area.

The Role

  • Driving a 7.5T vehicle to deliver and collect plant machinery
  • Multi-drop deliveries throughout the Midlands region
  • Securing loads safely using ratchet straps
  • Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
  • Providing excellent customer service on site

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 months HGV / 7.5T driving experience essential
  • Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Previous ratchet strapping experience essential
  • Good knowledge of driver hours and road safety regulations
  • Reliable, professional and safety-conscious attitude
