Pertemps are recruiting Ad Hoc Evening Library Advisors for temporary ongoing work across Edinburgh libraries.
Location: Edinburgh - various library locations
Hours of work: Evening shifts (17:00-20:00) offered as required
Pay rate: £14.51 per hour
Duration: Temporary ongoing
Immediate start
A PVG Certificate is required (£59 for a new application or £18 to update an existing certificate).
The Role
- You will provide ad hoc cover across library branches, supporting daily operations and assisting members of the public.
- Providing customer service to library users
- Supporting day-to-day library operations
- Assisting with council services, including bus pass applications
- Helping visitors use computers, online services and digital resources
- Supporting community activities and events
- Maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment
