We are recruiting for Assembly Operators to work for a prestigious manufacturer in Leyland. This will be a temporary role. You'll be working on an automotive production line and earning £17.46 per hour. The position does involve standing for long periods and is fast-paced; a drug & alcohol test will be carried out before you start. Similar previous experience is desired but full training will be provided, along with free onsite parking and free uniform.

Carrying out the assembly operations required for continuous production line build of commercial vehicles adhering to the highest levels of safety, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met.
  • Carry out assembly operations in line with identified job process.
  • Maintain cleanliness of immediate work area.
  • Basic care of equipment.
  • Care of components required in the build process.

The role is temporary ongoing - Working hours are Monday - Thursday 07:20 - 16:10, and Friday 07:20 - 14:10.

Experience and Qualifications
  • Mechanical engineering (desired)
  • Use of tools (required)
  • Ability to understand verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to use touch screen technology.
  • Good communication and team working skills.
