We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Leighton Buzzard seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Food Technology Teacher to join their thriving department. Role Overview:

  • Teach Food Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
  • Support students in developing cooking skills, nutrition knowledge, and confidence in the kitchen
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
  • Maintain a safe, organised, and hygienic learning environment

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Food Technology at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Passionate about high-quality teaching and student achievement
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
