Role Overview
- Teach Design & Technology across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Plan and deliver engaging, practical, and theory-based lessons
- Support students in developing creativity, technical knowledge, and problem-solving skills
- Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment
- Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental development
- Maintain a safe and organised workshop/classroom environment
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching DT at secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge across DT disciplines
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
