Due to continued company growth, our client is seeking an experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their successful outfit. You will be covering a range of commercial and domestic premises to conduct risk assessments and highlight any compliance and system performance issues. The ideal candidate will be located within the Midlands and will be able to travel further afield when needed. Our client is a well-known name within the Legionella / Water Hygiene industry, who have a presence across the UK. Experience / Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Legionella Risk Assessor
  • Will hold the City and Guilds (WMSoc) in Legionella Risk Assessing
  • Robust industry knowledge of ACOP L8 and HSG 274 guidelines
  • It would be advantageous to have plumbing experience / qualifications
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Confident using IT software

The Role:

  • Undertaking legionella risk assessments on domestic hot and cold water systems
  • Water sampling and temperature monitoring
  • Producing detailed technical reports to highlight any compliance issues
  • Making recommendations for remedial works
  • Providing updates and technical advice to clients
  • Working to agreed deadlines and personal targets
  • Representing the company in a professional manner
  • Travelling in line with company needs
