We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to support a refurbishment project in Leeds on behalf of a well-established repairs and maintenance contractor. This is a short-term contract (8-10 weeks) with the strong possibility of further work for the right candidate.

The Opportunity

As Site Manager you will be responsible for managing a strip-out and refurbishment project, taking the building back to brick and overseeing the early-stage rebuild works.

The Role

  • Managing day-to-day site operations
  • Supervising subcontractors and ensuring work is completed to programme
  • Ensuring health & safety compliance on site
  • Coordinating strip-out activities and structural preparation
  • Liaising with the client and internal teams
  • Maintaining site records and reporting progress

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Site Manager on refurbishment or strip-out projects
  • Strong understanding of health & safety regulations
  • Ability to manage trades effectively and keep projects on schedule
  • Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates (essential)
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
