We are recruiting for a Leeds based Client for an experienced Book-Keeper. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting and administration skills who enjoys working in a friendly, fast-paced business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing day-to-day bookkeeping duties
  • Managing CIS deductions and payments
  • Recording sales and purchase invoices
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Preparing VAT returns
  • Payroll support (if experienced)
  • Maintaining accurate financial records
  • Liaising with accountants when required
  • General office administration support

Requirements

  • Previous bookkeeping experience essential
  • Knowledge of accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience within construction, trade, or service industries is beneficial but not essential
