Forklift Operator needed in Ledbury with immediate starts available from 15th June until the end of August. Paying £15.31 per hour (£32,043 pro rata). Free on-site parking.

We’ve got an exciting opportunity for an experienced Forklift Operator to join a busy, high-energy site handling fresh fruit deliveries during peak season. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love working as part of a team, this could be the perfect fit.

Immediate starts available with work until the end of August or starts available at the end of June until the end of August.

Pay & Hours
  • Pay: £32,043 pro rata (£15.31 per hour)
  • Contract: Fixed-term summer project (15th June to the end August)
  • Hours: Full-time, 12-hour shifts (days, nights & weekends)
  • Day shift: 06:00 to 18:00
  • Night shift: 18:00 to 06:00
  • Rotating Panama shift pattern (great work/life balance with built-in days off)
What you’ll be doing
  • Unloading full bins of freshly harvested blackcurrants from side-loading lorries
  • Transporting bins to the intake area and positioning them for processing
  • Keeping the flow moving by returning empty bins for reloading
  • Supporting a smooth, continuous production line
  • Carrying out daily equipment checks and operating safely
  • Communicating with the yard team to keep everything running like clockwork
  • Pitching in with general yard duties when needed

What we’re looking for
  • Valid, in-date forklift certificate (Counterbalance, Reach, Flexi or VNA)
  • Some experience in a busy forklift role
  • Interest in being trained to operate a JCB Telehandler
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and keep things moving efficiently
  • Strong focus on safety, teamwork, and communication skills
