About the Company: gap personnel is proud to be working with one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of frozen fruit products, based in Ledbury. Please note: this role involves working in chilled environments (average temperature +8°C). This is a great opportunity if you’re looking for a stable role with the chance to transition to a permanent position for the right candidate. This is an initial 6-month ongoing position with potential for work to be extended.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Stock Management: Picking stock from designated collection locations and placing it where needed. Replenishing stock in the production areas as required.
  • Production Line Duties: Packing products on the production line, ensuring that products are packed securely and efficiently. Ensuring that all products meet the correct weight requirements for packaging.
  • Quality Control: Conducting regular quality checks on all items to ensure that they meet company standards.
  • Labelling and Coding: Labelling products with the correct batch codes and labels to ensure traceability and compliance with regulations.
  • Environmental Conditions: Working in chilled environments, with temperatures around +8°C. Candidates should be comfortable with this temperature range for the duration of the shift.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in a similar production or warehouse role would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Ability to work efficiently and maintain high-quality standards.
  • Good attention to detail, especially with packing, labelling, and performing quality checks.
  • Comfortable working in a chilled environment.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.

Basic Hours & Pay Rate: Sunday to Thursday 22:00 to 06:00, paid 37.5 hours a week at £14.50 per hour basic rate.
