The Role – Learning Support Assistant
- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small group interventions
- Assisting the class teacher with the day-to-day running of the classroom
- Adapting learning activities to meet individual pupil needs
- Supporting pupils with SEND and challenging behaviour
- Working collaboratively with teaching staff and the SENCo
- Helping to create a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working as a Learning Support Assistant within KS1 and KS2
- Have experience supporting children with SEND and additional needs
- Be confident working on a 1:1 basis and with small intervention groups
- Be passionate about education and supporting children's development
- Have strong communication and behaviour management skills
- Be available Monday to Friday, 8:30am-3:30pm
