Our client, a leading entity in the Defence & Security sector, is currently seeking a Lead Project Professional Delivery to join their team on a contract basis, specialising in the delivery of the AVCX Capability. This role will be based primarily in Warton, with a hybrid working arrangement of four days per week on-site. This position comes with a fixed-term contract of six months.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all project management aspects of delivering the AVCX Capability
- Maintain, execute, and deliver against the AVCX Schedule Level 3.5 and Level 4
- Analyse schedule performance and manage impacts to milestones
- Report on the delivery of AVCX to senior management, including escalation of any key issues
- Track and manage project ADE's
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and delivery challenges
- Manage project forecasts and financial reporting into Alliance OBI reviews
- Drive continuous improvement and apply Learning from Experience
- Continuously monitor performance against schedule, cost, and quality
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in leading complex projects or capability delivery
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and risks
- Strong project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills
There will be an expectation for you to be on site in Warton to ensure ongoing build and commissioning activities are monitored and managed effectively.
