Our client, operating in the Defence & Security sector, is seeking a Lead Project Professional Delivery to join their team on a contract basis. This role focuses on the Dreadnought programme and encompasses various performance reporting and capability responsibilities. The position is available in Barrow with hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing day‑to‑day direction and line management responsibility for reporting team analysts
  • Maintaining the Alliance Reporting Cycle, including preparation of meeting packs and facilitation of internal reviews
  • Supporting the Alliance Reporting Manager in developing Alliance reporting capabilities
  • Maintaining and managing Alliance Governance Review actions ensuring they are kept updated
  • Developing a standardised approach for consistency of information across reviews
  • Generating agenda packs on programme performance and ensuring the accuracy of the presented information

Capabilities

  • Implementing reporting requirements within the Alliance governance structure and developing effective materials and ways of working
  • Maintaining the OMD capability to record historical events, ensuring accessibility
  • Supporting the continuous development of team members

Job Requirements

  • Experience in project management and reporting in the Defence & Security sector
  • Skills in managing and developing reporting capabilities within a governance structure
  • Ability to maintain and update governance review actions
  • Proficiency in developing standardised information and reporting consistency
  • Experience in supporting team development and continuous improvement
