Position: Lead Air Conditioning Engineer

Location: Cheshire & M6 Corridor

Salary: 45-48k

Our client is a special M&E National Contractor who has been in the market for over 30 years with a Head office in the Northwest. Due to growth within the region, we're recruiting for an experienced Lead Air Conditioning Engineer.

The role will be working across various contracts, completing complex remedial tasks, pricing, and leading small asset replacement works. The Lead Air Conditioning Engineer must hold strong technical ability and knowledge on a variety of HVAC equipment.

The Lead Air Conditioning Engineer will be tasked with more complex remedial tasks and will also provide technical support, pricing asset replacement works, and leading small works such as R22 Improvements, refurbishments, and replacements.

Position Requirements:

  • Advantageous to have a Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
  • 2079 Safe Handling of Refrigerants (F-Gas)
  • Full Driving Licence
  • Experienced with service, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair
  • Experience in pricing and quoting small works
  • Technical knowledge of HVAC Equipment
  • Supervisory experience
  • Live within 30-45 minutes of the company office in Warrington

Position Remuneration:

  • Up to 48k per annum
  • 1-4 call out plus 350 weekly retainer
  • Overtime 1.5 & 2x
  • Company Van with optional personal use
  • Travel pay after 30 minutes each way
  • 8-4:30 working hours
