Our client, a reputable Highway Maintenance company based in the Larbert area, is looking to recruit a skilled HGV Technician to join their dedicated team. Duties
- Diagnose, repair, and service a range of HGV vehicles in the workshop
- Fault finding using manual and digital diagnostic tools
- Replace and repair faulty vehicle components
- Prepare repair estimates and discuss work scope with customers
- Maintain accurate vehicle repair records in liaison with transport managers
- Order parts and liaise with the stores team to ensure availability
- Support and mentor apprentices or work experience individuals
- Comply with all health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
- Relevant qualifications, such as Level 3 HGV or Vehicle maintenance certification
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude towards work and learning opportunities
- Willingness to undertake training, including obtaining Class 2 Driving Licence and Telehandler Certification if not already held
