We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading highway maintenance company based in the Larbert area, for an experienced HGV Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to join a reputable organisation committed to operational excellence and employee development.
Benefits
- Competitive basic salary up to 51,870, OTE 55,000
- Monday to Thursday working hours from 07:00 to 17:00, with early finish on Fridays
- Saturdays paid at time and a half
- Additional overtime paid at time and a half

Duties
- Diagnosing vehicle faults manually and using digital tools/software
- Repairing and replacing faulty vehicle parts efficiently
- Preparing cost and time estimates for repair work
- Referencing complex repairs to specialists when necessary
- Maintaining accurate vehicle and parts records in liaison with Transport Managers
- Managing parts inventory with support from the Stores team
- Mentoring apprentices or work experience candidates
- Ensuring high standards of safety and compliance within the workshop environment
Requirements
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or similar role
- Level 2 or 3 qualification preferred but relevant experience will be considered
- Full UK Driving Licence is essential
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training to maintain professional standards
- Class 2 Driving Licence and relevant CPC CPS Card
