Project Overview
We are looking for a sharp, site-based Works Manager or General Foreman to lead a diverse civils and marine package in Cosham. This is a 12‑month contract involving high‑level FRC, specialist stonework, and complex water‑side engineering. We need someone who prioritises being out on the ground, managing subcontractors, and driving production. While you’ll need to review RAMS and follow ITPs, this is not an office‑based role. We need a leader who can push the programme and solve problems on the tools.
Work Package
- Major FRC: High‑spec pours, including a 10m high wall.
- Marine Works: Cofferdam replacements and sheet piling.
- Drainage: Culvert installations and associated works.
- Specialist Trades: Coordinating stone masons and traditional finishes.
- Subcontractor Management: Keeping various gangs on track and on programme.
Requirements
- Experience: A strong background in heavy civils and FRC. Marine or piling experience is highly preferred.
- Direct Management: Proven ability to manage subcontractors and keep a site moving without constant supervision.
- Compliance: You must be willing to undergo a DBS check (required upon offer).
- Qualifications: CSCS Gold/Black Card and SMSTS/SSSTS.

- Rate: 400 - 440 per day (Paid CIS).
