A well-established SME in Knowsley is seeking a Semi‑Skilled Assembly Operative to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of £13.30 and hours are full‑time Monday to Friday on days. This role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis, so please only apply if you are seeking a temporary role with potential for permanent.
Full training is also offered in this position, but having experience within manufacturing is advantageous.
Responsibilities:- Assembly of product as instructed.
- Ensure assembly, inspection and test procedures are carried out using the correct tools, documentation and processes.
- Maintain proper completion of job cards and other associated manufacturing processes.
- Use and read measuring equipment as required.
- Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area.
- Carry out team designated functions.
- Feedback to supervision and other designated personnel regarding problems and issues which you encounter.
- Assist in the introduction of new products into the assembly areas.
- Pursue cost saving operation where appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Consistent experience within manufacturing.
- Hard work ethic and a can‑do attitude.
- Reliable.
- Able to provide 2 references.
