Domus Recruitment is working with a well established provider who is seeking an Interim Deputy Manager to support the delivery of their respite service. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional looking to develop their leadership and management skills within adult social care services supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the daily oversight of the service
- Supervise, support and monitor staff performance, attendance and conduct
- Support Team Managers and Registered Managers in the compliant delivery of regulated services
- Ensure services are delivered in line with CQC standards, policies and procedures
- Promote person centred support and oversee individual support plans and risk assessments
- Support safeguarding processes and promote safe working practices across services
- Monitor service quality, performance and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work collaboratively with families, health professionals and external agencies
- Support rota planning and staffing coordination to ensure safe service delivery
Requirements
- Experience working within adult social care services supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or autism
- Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and CQC compliance
- NVQ Level 3 in Adult Health and Social Care essential
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
