A well-established SME in Knowsley is seeking a Semi‑Skilled Assembly Operative to join their team. On offer is an hourly rate of £13.30 and hours are full‑time Monday to Friday. This role is offered on an ongoing temporary basis so please only apply if you are seeking a temporary role with potential for permanent. Full training is also offered in this position but having experience within manufacturing is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Assembly of product as instructed.
  • Ensure assembly, inspection and test procedures are carried out using the correct tools, documentation and processes.
  • Maintain proper completion of job cards and other associated manufacturing processes.
  • Use and read measuring equipment as required.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy and safe work area.
  • Carry out team‑designated functions.
  • Feedback to supervision and other designated personnel regarding problems and issues which you encounter.
  • Assist in the introduction of new products into the assembly areas.
  • Pursue cost‑saving operation where appropriate.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

  • Hard work ethic and a can‑do attitude.
  • Reliable.
  • Able to provide 2 references.
