We are currently recruiting for a KS2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive Junior School in Derby. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils across Key Stage 2, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and provide targeted support where needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons and classroom activities
  • Working with small groups or on a 1:1 basis to support learning
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote a positive learning environment
  • Assisting with the preparation of learning resources
  • Providing pastoral support to help pupils develop both academically and socially
About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has experience working with children in a primary school setting
  • Has a passion for supporting KS2 learners

  • Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) - desirable but not essential
