An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quality Technician to join a well-established and growing manufacturer. This role is key to maintaining and improving the Quality Management System, ensuring products and processes meet required standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Resolve material certification issues with suppliers and test houses
- Review supplier documentation for compliance with relevant standards
- Support internal departments with quality and certification queries
- Conduct internal audits and support external audits
- Investigate product/process issues and carry out root cause analysis (e.g. 8D, 5 Whys)
- Monitor supplier performance and support supplier development activities
- Maintain quality records, reports, and documentation
- Support inspection activities and customer returns investigations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
About You
- Experience working with suppliers, manufacturing, or quality environments
- Understanding of quality systems and testing methods
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and data analysis skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
Desirable
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar standards
- Experience interpreting engineering/material specifications
