We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C E) Drivers for ongoing agency work at a busy 24-hour DHL operation based in Ferrybridge. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and professional drivers looking for regular work with competitive rates and flexible shift patterns.
The Role
- Trunking work to RDCs and depots
- Minimal handball involved
- 24-hour operation with a range of start times available
- Night shifts and weekend availability highly desirable
- Other shift patterns will also be considered
- Driving assessment required prior to starting (paid upon passing)
- Further on-site training provided for LST trailers and gas trucks
Pay Rates (PAYE)
- Monday to Friday Days: £18.52 per hour
- Overtime after 8 hours: £27.78 per hour
- Nights: £19.66 per hour
- Overtime after 8 hours: £29.49 per hour
- Weekends Saturday: £19.19 per hour (all hours)
- Sunday: £23.19 per hour (all hours)
Please note:
- A 45-minute break deduction applies to shifts over 8 hours
- Weekly PAYE pay
- Holiday pay accrued separately
Requirements
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C E) licence
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- No more than 6 licence points
- No DR, DD, IN or other serious endorsements
- Reliable and flexible attitude toward shift patterns
