ReeVR Talent are looking for a Quality Inspector to join our client's fast-paced engineering facility. As a key member of the Quality Team, you will play an important role in ensuring products meet the highest standards through thorough inspection activities and strict adherence to established processes and procedures. As the Quality Inspector, you will help maintain product integrity and support continuous improvement across the quality function.

Key Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector:

  • Carry out supplier quality inspections, ensuring all procedures, documentation and reporting requirements are followed in line with the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Manage Goods Inwards Inspection and Initial Sample Inspection Reports (ISIR).
  • Support Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE) in delivering supplier quality improvement plans.
  • Assist with supplier non-conformance reports (NCRs).
  • Ensure supplier processes comply with relevant standards and specifications.
  • Work with internal departments and suppliers to resolve quality issues and implement improvements.
  • Carry out other reasonable duties as required, including cross-training within final inspection and the wider quality team.

Key Requirements for the Quality Inspector:

  • Experience inspecting incoming goods within an engineering or electromechanical manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and communicate technical requirements to suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with suppliers and internal teams at all levels (essential).
  • Proven problem-solving skills with experience delivering measurable improvements.
  • Familiarity with quality and continuous improvement tools.
  • Experience working within an ISO 9001 quality environment.
  • Proactive mindset with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Competent in ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
