We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Kintore. In this role you will coordinate international shipments, ensure compliance with customs and trade regulations, and support the timely delivery of products to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate import and export shipments, including planning and execution.
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation (commercial invoices, BOL, AWB, CMR).
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements.
  • Liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, tracking, and delivery coordination.
  • Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or issues (e.g., damaged goods, documentation gaps).
  • Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation.
  • Support audits and ensure adherence to internal compliance policies.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Procurement teams to align shipment schedules.
  • Support continuous improvement in logistics processes and documentation accuracy.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
  • Experience with international transport (sea, air, and road).
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation (CIPL, BOL, AWB, CMR, MRN).
  • Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Desired Qualifications

  • CILT or similar logistics-related certification.
  • Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR).
  • Experience working within UK customs processes.
  • Previous experience in a similar international environment.
