The Opportunity
- Supporting day‑to‑day Health, Safety and Environmental activities across the site
- Assisting with risk assessments, audits and workplace inspections
- Helping managers and teams identify hazards and implement safe working practices
- Supporting accident, incident and near‑miss investigations
- Promoting a positive Health & Safety culture across the business
- Assisting with the coordination of emergency procedures, site surveys and compliance activities
- Supporting the ongoing development of HSE systems, procedures and best practice standards
About You
- An interest in developing a career within Health, Safety & Environment
- IOSH certification or candidates who have achieved or started studying towards a NEBOSH qualification
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
- A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop
- Good organisation and attention to detail
- Experience within manufacturing, warehouse/logistics or FMCG environments would be beneficial but is not essential
- A full UK driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role and site requirements
