Are you an organised and driven Project Manager looking to work on complex and meaningful defence programmes? We are looking for a motivated individual to join our client's Defence Business Unit, supporting the successful delivery of innovative projects within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Reporting to the Head of Delivery, you will play a key role in planning, coordinating and delivering projects that meet customer expectations for quality, cost and schedule. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams, managing stakeholders, and contributing to high-impact programmes.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules and resource allocations
  • Monitor project progress, milestones, risks and dependencies
  • Support the delivery of projects to agreed cost, quality and time objectives
  • Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams
  • Facilitate project meetings and maintain clear project documentation
  • Identify, manage and escalate risks and issues where appropriate
  • Support budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and project management best practice
  • Ensure all project deliverables comply with quality management standards
  • Build strong working relationships across technical and delivery teams

What We're Looking For

  • Strong organisational skills, a proactive mindset and the ability to work effectively under pressure
  • Experience in project management, project coordination or delivery support
  • APM PMQ, PRINCE2, PMI or equivalent qualification (or working towards one)
  • Experience within product development, research, consultancy or technical delivery environments
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and risk management capabilities
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional experience

Experience within defence, engineering or technology-focused environments would be advantageous.
