Temporary Receptionist Full‑time, 6‑9 month maternity cover position in Irlam sales office. Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am‑5pm, 37.5 hours per week. Immediate start.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming and outgoing communications, including postal mail and phone calls
- Provide a warm, professional, and personalized welcome to clients and visitors
- Manage company meetings, schedules and ensure standards are met
- Distribute incoming mail and liaise with couriers
- Process letters and quotes
- Purchase certain office items and deal with suppliers
- Assist with travel arrangements
- Use mail merge functionality
- Accurately take and relay messages
- Provide CRM support when required
- Coordinate with cleaners, contractors, etc. to enforce company regulations on site
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar Receptionist role is essential
- Experience booking meeting rooms and travel arrangements is preferred but not essential
- IT literacy with strong MS Office skills including mail merge
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Experience dealing with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong typing skills: accurate to produce high‑quality documentation
