Gi Group are looking for experienced Class 1 night drivers in Wellingborough to join a well-known parcel delivery company. This role is ad-hoc to start with potential for more shifts as volumes increase.

Pay: £17.77 per hour nights including holiday pay (PAYE, no umbrellas).

Shifts: 19:00 start, Monday to Friday, average 10-hour shifts.

Key Duties:

  • 1–5 drops
  • Collecting pallets from customers back to depots
  • Trunking, no loading/unloading or handball
  • Usually a double route

Requirements:

  • In-date, UK, Class 1 licence with 1 year’s experience.
  • Current and valid CPC and Digi Tacho.
  • Previous steel experience an advantage.
  • No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, MS, TT, CU, DR or DD codes).
