Gi Group are looking for experienced Class 1 night drivers in Wellingborough to join a well-known parcel delivery company. This role is ad-hoc to start with potential for more shifts as volumes increase.
Pay: £17.77 per hour nights including holiday pay (PAYE, no umbrellas).
Shifts: 19:00 start, Monday to Friday, average 10-hour shifts.
Key Duties:
- 1–5 drops
- Collecting pallets from customers back to depots
- Trunking, no loading/unloading or handball
- Usually a double route
Requirements:
- In-date, UK, Class 1 licence with 1 year’s experience.
- Current and valid CPC and Digi Tacho.
- Previous steel experience an advantage.
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, MS, TT, CU, DR or DD codes).
