Overview
I am currently recruiting for an Occupational Therapist to work with my client in Ipswich, Suffolk. This is an initial 6-month contract focused on the proactive completion of reviews and assessments across the Directorate, supporting service delivery and helping to reduce waiting lists.
Main Duties
- Providing safe and timely delivery of frontline Occupational Therapy services within the Directorate
- Supporting triage processes and reducing duplication between health and social care services to help reduce OT waiting lists
- Supporting external care providers to ensure safe and appropriate moving and handling practices
- Completing reviews of care packages to ensure best value for Adult Social Care services and effective use of available equipment
- Reviewing double-handed care packages
- Reviewing waking night care provision
- Reviewing packages of care
The contract is 37 hours per week at £35.00 per hour.
Requirements
- At least 2 years postgraduate experience
- Car driver
- HCPC registered
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies
- Clear DBS (we can put this in process for you)
