We are recruiting for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a well-established regional main contractor based in Ipswich, delivering projects across education, healthcare, commercial, residential, and framework schemes. This is a key role overseeing multiple projects from pre-construction through to completion, ensuring safe, high-quality, and commercially successful delivery across the region.

Key responsibilities:

  • Manage multiple construction projects simultaneously
  • Oversee site teams, subcontractors, and supply chain partners
  • Ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Monitor programme, cost control, and progress
  • Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager with a main contractor
  • Strong experience managing multiple live projects
  • Excellent leadership and organisational skills
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • JCT/NEC knowledge preferred
  • Strong client relationship skills
