Your new company has around 60 years of experience in Building Services and primarily serves the East Anglia region and London. They deliver mechanical and electrical projects up to £10M across education, commercial, healthcare, leisure, industrial, residential high-end and heritage sectors.

Responsibilities

  • You will lead the design team, focusing on mechanical and electrical drawing.
  • You will be responsible for staff performance, clear roles and responsibilities, and promoting health & safety.
  • You may receive training in estimating and tender agreements.
  • Lead design team on drawing and documentation for M&E projects.
  • Authorize staff, set clear roles and provide guidance.
  • Maintain health & safety standards across all project activities.
  • Coordinate with key stakeholders and promote best practice.
  • Support estimating and tender activities as required.

Qualifications

  • To succeed you need to be a qualified Design Manager with a background in M&E projects and, ideally, experience handling projects valued at £10M or more.
  • A consultancy or contract background is acceptable.
  • You should be an effective communicator at all levels and able to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
