Responsibilities
- You will lead the design team, focusing on mechanical and electrical drawing.
- You will be responsible for staff performance, clear roles and responsibilities, and promoting health & safety.
- You may receive training in estimating and tender agreements.
- Lead design team on drawing and documentation for M&E projects.
- Authorize staff, set clear roles and provide guidance.
- Maintain health & safety standards across all project activities.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders and promote best practice.
- Support estimating and tender activities as required.
Qualifications
- To succeed you need to be a qualified Design Manager with a background in M&E projects and, ideally, experience handling projects valued at £10M or more.
- A consultancy or contract background is acceptable.
- You should be an effective communicator at all levels and able to develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
