The below job description will outline this position of: Intruder Alarm Installation Engineer

Typically, this person will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and occasional servicing of intruder alarm systems across commercial and residential client sites. The role will involve fault finding, preventative maintenance and providing high quality installations while ensuring systems meet industry standards.

Duties and responsibilities of the Intruder Alarm Installation Engineer:

  • Installation of intruder alarm systems across a variety of client sites
  • Carrying out preventative maintenance and servicing of security systems
  • Attending breakdowns and call-outs as part of a rota
  • Diagnosing and resolving faults across security systems
  • Carrying out small associated electrical remedial works where required

Qualifications and requirements for the Intruder Alarm Installation Engineer:

  • Proven experience installing and servicing intruder alarm systems
  • Knowledge of Risco systems would be advantageous
  • Experience fault finding within electronic security systems
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently
