We're partnering with an expanding organisation in London, seeking a skilled Insurance Finance Specialist to strengthen reporting, controls, and reconciliation processes.
Role Overview
As a key member of a small, agile finance team, you will support IFRS and statutory reporting, work closely with internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to accurate financial records and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform balance sheet and cash/bank reconciliations.
- Manage credit control processes and resolve queries with brokers, insurers, and reinsurers.
- Maintain and update accounting records within Sage.
- Assist with audits, month-end close, and enhance internal controls.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified ACCA / ACA / CIMA accountant.
- Experience within insurance or reinsurance accounting.
- Strong reconciliation experience: balance sheet, cash, bank.
- Knowledge of IFRS reporting.
- Confident communicator and proactive problem solver.
