Installation and Service Engineer (Maintenance / Commissioning) in Ipswich.

International Travel

Up to £45,000 + Premium Overtime Rates (OTE Up to approx. £60,000) + Full Expenses + Use of Pool Cars + Training + Door to Door Travel for Site Visits

Schedule: Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30

Installation and Service Engineer required to work in a varied and technically challenging role. This is a great opportunity to join a well-established company with a global reputation during a busy period of growth. This role also offers the opportunity to boost your earnings in overtime.

This role would suit an experienced electro-mechanical engineer with knowledge of PLCs and can come from any background working on industrial / production machinery.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and servicing machinery on a global basis. You will spend approximately 50% of your time based at the company site in Ipswich working on machinery and the other 50% of your time will be spent visiting customer sites where you will install, service, conduct training and maintain machinery. This split may vary depending on projects. You can expect to spend anywhere up to two weeks away at a given time, depending on the size of the installation.

The Installation and Service Engineer Role:

  • Commissioning, installing, and troubleshooting of automated machinery
  • 50:50 site-based and travel national and international to client sites
  • Monday to Friday 08:00 to 16:30 while at the factory; hours can vary while travelling and on site

The Installation and Service Engineer Candidate:
