Spire Fylde Coast Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team on a bank contract. This is a great chance to work within a leading private hospital, delivering high quality care to a wide range of patients. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience of working in orthopaedics.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Work as part of the Inpatient Physiotherapy Team with post‑operative patients to prepare them for discharge home.
- Provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the inpatient and outpatient department.
- Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
- Provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and caseload management.
- Have significant experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team.
Who we're looking for:
- Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
- Be HCPC registered – your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
- Postgraduate clinical experience within a clinical environment (NHS or Private Hospital).
- Experience of working in Orthopaedics in an inpatient setting.
- Strong communication skills.
- Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills to continue our high standards of patient care.
- Availability to provide weekday cover ideally.
- Availability to cover Saturday and Sundays.
