Spire Fylde Coast Hospital has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Physiotherapist to join our friendly and supportive team on a bank contract. This is a great chance to work within a leading private hospital, delivering high quality care to a wide range of patients. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience of working in orthopaedics.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Work as part of the Inpatient Physiotherapy Team with post‑operative patients to prepare them for discharge home.
  • Provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, diagnosis, treatment and advice to patients within the inpatient and outpatient department.
  • Undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner.
  • Provide a high standard of physiotherapy assessment, treatment and caseload management.
  • Have significant experience in physiotherapy delivery and working as a multidisciplinary team.

Who we're looking for:

  • Degree (BSc Hons in Physiotherapy) or equivalent.
  • Be HCPC registered – your registration should not have any restrictions or conditions.
  • Postgraduate clinical experience within a clinical environment (NHS or Private Hospital).
  • Experience of working in Orthopaedics in an inpatient setting.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience of assessing, diagnosing and treating a range of patients/cases.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills to continue our high standards of patient care.
  • Availability to provide weekday cover ideally.
  • Availability to cover Saturday and Sundays.
