Overview

We are seeking a proactive and motivated Infrastructure Support Engineer to support and maintain critical infrastructure services across both on-premise and cloud environments. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with some commercial IT support experience who is looking to develop their skills across infrastructure, Microsoft technologies, and enterprise systems. You will work closely with senior engineers to support day-to-day operations, assist with upgrades and maintenance activities, and help ensure the stability and performance of key infrastructure platforms within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support physical, virtual, and cloud-based infrastructure environments
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Windows Server platforms and core infrastructure services
  • Assist with infrastructure upgrades, patching, migrations, and routine maintenance tasks
  • Support Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and basic SQL Server activities
  • Maintain system documentation, monitoring, security, and operational standards

Key Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in an IT Support, Infrastructure Support, or similar technical support role
  • Basic knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Understanding of troubleshooting server, infrastructure, or application-related issues
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS and monitoring tools would be beneficial
  • Willingness to learn infrastructure technologies, scripting, and enterprise support processes
