We are offering a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a fast‑paced, high‑volume FMCG manufacturing site in Norfolk. The company has heavily invested in advanced automation, continuous improvement projects, and state‑of‑the‑art production lines, making it an excellent workplace for engineers seeking career development, technical growth, and long‑term progression.

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out electrical maintenance, fault‑finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of automated and semi‑automated production machinery.
  • Ensure maximum uptime and efficiency in a demanding FMCG environment.
  • Minimise downtime, support production targets and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Required Qualifications:

  • Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Hands‑on experience with pre‑planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a fast‑paced industrial factory.
  • Ability to work a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern.
  • Strong hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience on production machinery.
  • Recognised electrical engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent).
  • Experience working within a manufacturing environment with automated machinery.
  • Knowledge of PLC fault‑finding (advantageous).

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
  • Previous experience within FMCG, food, beverage or packaging environments.
