Our client, a leading metal recycling company, is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weighbridge Operator to join their team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately weigh and record all incoming and outgoing vehicles using the weighbridge system.
  • Ensure all documentation is completed correctly and efficiently.
  • Communicate with drivers and warehouse staff to coordinate vehicle movement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for compliance and audit purposes.
  • Perform regular checks and basic maintenance on the weighbridge equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Support other administrative and yard duties as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience operating a weighbridge is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent record-keeping skills.
  • Strong administrative background is essential.
  • Comfortable working in an industrial environment.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • IT literate.
