Our client, a leading civil engineering contractor, is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major marine sheet piling project. The works involve marine sheet piling installation, cofferdam construction, quay wall strengthening, and associated heavy civils works across a long-term programme of marine infrastructure projects.
Site Engineer Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage day-to-day engineering activities on site
- Ensure works are delivered in line with drawings, specifications, programme, and quality standards
- Carry out setting out and surveying duties for marine and heavy civils works
- Coordinate subcontractors, site teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth project delivery
- Ensure all works are carried out in compliance with health & safety and environmental requirements
- Maintain accurate site records, QA documentation, and progress reports
Site Engineer Requirements
- Proven experience working on marine civils, sheet piling, or waterfront infrastructure projects
- Strong background in heavy civils, marine construction, or port infrastructure environments
- Competent in setting out and surveying using modern equipment
- CSCS card required
- SMSTS or SSSTS beneficial
